Clore Center in Halisa

The Clore Foundation for Israel, through the Haifa for Israel Foundation, has established the Clore Community Center in Halisa.

Since its inception, the center has been addressing various aspects of the community in a range of areas: leisure, culture, enrichment, education, learning, employment, sports, and more. Moreover, the center strives to generate community processes aimed at promoting, nurturing, strengthening, and transforming the neighborhood into a source of pride for the community.

The center was built by the “Yafe Nof” company based on the plan of architect Dr. David Braun and consists of four floors: The ground floor features an activity center for young children, hosting activities for the development of language skills, fine and gross motor skills, and a sensory room for relaxation. The entrance floor includes a foyer, cafeteria, and an events hall where films are screened, and sports, dance, and theater activities take place.
The third floor houses a learning center for children and teenagers, comprising classrooms and creative rooms of various sizes. The center provides private and group tutoring sessions, as well as enrichment and creativity workshops. Additionally, this floor includes club rooms for women, teenagers, and senior citizens. The fourth floor is dedicated to an adult learning center with 20 computer stations. Additional facilities in the community center include a computer club for youth, used for innovation, entrepreneurship, and robotics studies. On the rooftop of the building, there is an open, expansive terrace spanning an area of approximately 150 square meters, utilized for community and cultural events during the summer. Furthermore, the community center features an open sports field inaugurated a year and a half ago, with a cost of approximately 1.5 million NIS. It serves as a social meeting and bonding space for families, children, and teenagers, as well as a training ground for football.
